Rope Making.

Last week Surabhi showed us how to make rope. It was a collective process by which at least two or more individuals need to be involved in the technique. I was eternally grateful to have learned yet another new skill within only the first two weeks of school! Today Sarah and I took it upon ourselves to try it on our own. Even with two people it was difficult. The concept of it being a group procedure, I find to be a unique factor, How many times do you NEED more than one person to create something in the fine arts realm? As of now the question becomes “How do I integrate this into my own work?” I am envisioning that it could possibly become a part of the hair on the piece that I am working on now.
