Nicole J. Georges is a zinester, illustrator, educator, and pet portrait artist living in Portland. Her zines contain day to day events in her personal life with relationships, pets, teaching and creative pursuits from a queer and feminist perspective. Her illustrations of animals are moving in the sense that she depicts them in a humane style. They take on characteristics of humans, some humorous others more solemn.
