Marionettes with Geahk Burchill, who coincidentally lives in Portland! He traditionally carves these marionettes giving them each a defining personality. This particular form of making relates to my art in it’s narrative aspects. He goes into the stringing of the puppet being very particular, I can also relate to this with the use of fabric, certain fabrics create certain effects to some of the pieces I construct.
